Know Before You Go: Right Southbound Lane on Scudder Falls (I-95) Bridge CLOSED

NEW HOPE, PA –The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission today announced that the right southbound lane on the Scudder Falls (I-95) Bridge will be closed to traffic from 7 p.m. Friday, April 16, until 3 p.m. Saturday, April 17. The closure is needed to allow Commission personnel to make pothole repairs.

The planned lane closure is subject to change due to weather, construction, emergency or traffic-related considerations.  Motorists are asked to reduce their speed and use caution as they travel through an active work zone.

The Scudder Falls Bridge carries I-95 across the Delaware River, linking Lower Makefield Township, Pa. with Ewing Township, N.J. The bridge is the Commission’s most heavily used span. It carried a daily average of 57,100 vehicles in 2009.
